Project Brief
Urban Crest Residence was developed as a compact mixed use scheme that brings together commercial activity at street level and a series of considered residential spaces above. The aim was to create a building that feels grounded within its urban setting while offering moments of calm for the people who live and work there. Our role was to produce clear and expressive visualisations that communicate the form, atmosphere and spatial rhythm of the proposal.
Our Approach
The design works with the narrow footprint of the site, organising the building vertically to make the best use of its height and orientation. The ground floor is shaped around two commercial units that maintain an active street presence, while service and storage spaces sit quietly behind them. As the building rises, the layout shifts toward more private use, with each residential level designed to feel light, simple and easy to navigate.
Softly framed openings, clean lines and a restrained material palette help the building settle comfortably into its surroundings. Balconies and terraces offer gentle transitions between indoor and outdoor space, introducing greenery and quiet pockets of air where residents can pause. The rooftop level is treated as a shared retreat, with a pool and seating areas arranged to capture light throughout the day and create a calm vantage point above the city.

Outcome
Urban Crest Residence succeeds in creating a balanced environment where everyday activity and quiet living exist comfortably side by side. The commercial edge contributes to the street, while the upper floors offer residents a more sheltered atmosphere. The rooftop terrace brings a final layer of calm, opening the building to the sky and giving it a gentle sense of release. Through the visualizations, the character of the development is presented in a way that feels clear, inviting and true to its intention.
